About the Artist - Dillon Hereth is often referred to as the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster’s resident artist. Dillon, a senior at Westminster High School, has been a Boys & Girls Club member for 8 years, serving in many leadership roles at the Club. Although he has been “doodling” for as long as he can remember, Dillon credits the Boys & Girls Club staff for nurturing his talent. A self-taught artist, Dillon’s signature characters make an appearance in many of his art pieces. His many awards include: Habitat for Humanity community playhouse design, Knorr Brake STEaM Makerspace design, Maryland Opioid Command Center “Be Somebody” logo design, and many more. Dillon currently serves as the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster Youth of the Year, a role in which he is a role model for 500+ youth. Dillon is currently in the Drafting program at Carroll County Career & Technology Center and plans to study architecture in college next year.
